Sound Troubles OpenSuSe 10.2

I just installed OpenSuSe 10.2 on my Compaq Presario 2100 laptop today and everything except the sound seems to be working. Even the scroll tab on the touchpad is working and it never worked on windows! I've gotten sound out of the speakers when I test them in YaST volume settings but otherwise no program will run any sound. Do I need to get a new driver for the sound card? Anyways I would really appreciate if someone could give me some help on how to get the sound running on my computer. Thanks a lot.

Nevermind, I just needed to give audio access to the user.
