Sound problems (Mandrake 9.2)

When Linux boot and after the KDE interface there is a sound (the begin sound).
I have a problem, the sound is one time good, and other time the half of the sound is "scricchhhh". (The loudspeakers work on windows)
Is it a driver problem ?? (I have a chip Via on my mother-card) (VIA 3059 Audio controler)
Is there a solution ??

I'm a newbie ...

PS : I do not speak english and you have probably see it ...
