Sound problems
 

hey - i have mandriva 2006 and sound blaster live!24
my problem; mandi detect my sound card but i dont have sound - thers error whit driver and mixer is not avalibied - im in sound group, run sound module but still dont have sound - can any1 help me??

a short answer is do you have Mdk services .....on boot and run the sound stuff for alsa?

check the volumes with kmix or alsamixer if ok run with root powers alsaconf and then run a volume program
