sound problem.


Hi,

I have fedore in my note book, all the sound card related devices are detecting. but no sound. Plz help.

You should run
Code:
alsamixer
to unmute the various channels. Then run
Code:
alsactl store
to store your settings.

Tried the commands but no sound

I tried the commands and make the volume high in all.

Still no sound.

Plz help.

Raising the volume is not enough. You should also unmute the various channels. You can do this by pressing the "m" key.

what is your sound card? please run lspci and post the output.
