Sound Issues on IVOCALIZE Java applette
 

I am new to Linux. I use ivocalize for web conferencing but I can't hear any sound from it.

Linux isn't include in the supported platforms but it still base on Java.

How do I check if the problem is in Java and any other applet which use in Java can't make any sound?

Is there solution for that?
Is there someone which success use in ivocalize

Only the application with is "Java Web Start application" have the sound problem.

There is another Java application which is inside the page which the sound working good.

Unfortunately, The "Java Web Start application" is much more important.

I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 with Java 6 of SUN

If the software isn't supported under Linux, what makes you think it'll "just work" under linux, because it's Java??

Depending on how the software is written, it may specifically look for windows-only devices, which won't exist on Linux....

Thanks...Not good news as I use Ivocalize often during the week. I guess i'll have to load a window partisian to run this app
