anyone have any idea's on something I can do to fix this? its really the only thing i am having a problem with now....then i can attempt to make my res better and compile a kernal...lol
i dont know if this will help but i have a sound blaster audigy and i guess i was having the same problem as you. i figured out that the correct driver for me to use was emu10k1 instead of the default snd_emu10k1 that fixed my problem.
how was it that u figured it out? my sound card is just some PoC generic thing...lol
Mine is a C-Media CM8738 (rev 10) according to Alsaconf and i know that its a C Media...but maybe i got the wrong stuff for it, i dunno....=|
