sound config in fedora 11 issue

ok i was just wondering where is the sound config file in fedora 11. i went to the info center and it said that my mixers and stuff were completely disabled. which i think is why my sound isnt working. anyways i would just like to find the file and make them enabled

thanks Sloan

try doing this

Code:

su -
yum install pulseaudio alsa-plugins-pulseaudio pulseaudio-esound-compat pulseaudio-libs pulseaudio-libs-glib2 pulseaudio-module-zeroconf pulseaudio-libs-zeroconf xmms-pulse pulseaudio-module-gconf wine-pulseaudio xine-lib-pulseaudio pulseaudio-utils pulseaudio-module-bluetooth gst-mixer padevchooser paman paprefs pavucontrol pavumeter

This will install/include PulseAudio and all the extras we need to work with.

Physical Address Extension (PAE) is a feature of some x86 and x86-64 processors that enable the use of more than 4 gigabytes of physical memory to be used in 32-bit systems, given appropriate operating system support.
