sound card(yamaha OPL3 SAx ) not working in RED HAT 9

i am happy that my internet problem has been solved in this group and now i am surfing internet in linux.
but there is one more problem :
my sound card is not working (instead it is working in win2k)
I THINK that it is detected but there are no drivers/modules for it.
when i start GUI is says : couldn't open mixer device /dev/sound/mixer
and when i shut down, it failed to stop one service and displays error: can't locate module sound-service-0-0aumix: error opening mixer.
being a new member i dont know how to configure or load modules
i tried the follwing command:
[root@hotwire-196-148-16-del root]# cat /proc/pci

I also have a OPL3-SA2 in my laptop. See my site > Computing > Linux > Hardware: Toshiba 300 CDS.

It may help, or not... I don't really know what those parameters stand for... Use at your own risk. You may get better values for those parameters using google on the exact brand and model of your card (where the OPL3-SA2 is).
Good luck.

Yves.
