Sound card not detected in Bodhi Linux.

I loaded Bodhi Linux as a dual boot with Pinguy Ubuntu on an old P4 system with a Sound Blaster Audigy sound card. Bodhi won't detect a sound system or produce sound either with the sound card or the mobo device. I selected the SB card in alsamixer but that didn't work. The sound card works perfectly when I boot to Pinguy. I have also had Mint, Zorin, Fedora 16, Vector and Ubuntu 11.10 on this rig and all have been able to run the sound card when it was selected. Has anybody any ideas?

Seems to me you're not the only one who doesn't get sound to work. Reading the review it appears Bodhi is far from proper release. Better stick to other distros until they fix their stuff.
