Sound card, (CS46xx) + onboard

I have two sound cards, the onboard AC97 (which works fine) and my Games Theatre XP CS46xx (i think its a CS4620 but not exactly sure).

The driver for the games theatre is there and everything (auto installed) but dosnt work. Im assuming that i have to set it to the primary device but not sure how. Im also a bit paranoid that mandrake could use two sound devices at once but the driver for the games theatre is not the right one (but praying that this is not the case)

I'd first give a simple rmmod command trying to see if you could just remove the module for the onboard sound. First you'll need to see what modules are loaded (there'll be tons, try to find the ones that correspond to sound):
lsmod (LSMOD lowercase)
Then to remove them:
rmmod modulename

So let's say you want to rmmod ntfs module:
rmmod ntfs

BTW, this does (I believe) need to be done as root.

rmmod didnt SEEM to work but i did a reboot (and which during that reboot i also turnoff the onboard sound in bios), the games theatre works BEAUTIFULLY now

besides games that is pretty much the last step i need to make to be out of windowz ... so everything is excellent and fine
