Question Sound Blaster Audigy

can anyone tell me where i can get the SB Audigy driver for RH 7.2 X windows?

it doesn't exist

AFAIK creative are tying to incorporate it into their next driver release but at the moment i don't think it is supported in their driver.

You may want to keep an eye on

when it does support this you'll find it from there.

The problem is that the Audigy is too new. Go figure that would ever be a problem huh? You can try using one of the generic drivers built into the kernel or as a module. There's a chance it will work well enough to get sound. But unfortunately it's a long shot, though worth a try.

Thumbs up OSS has beta Audigy support

I got it working without a hitch.... just have to recompile the kernel without sound support and run the installer. Opensound is awesome! Go get it boy! OpenSound Website

Wink Audigy Driver

I found an Audigy driver at:

It works like a charm and was very easy to install. Follow the directions and you should have no problem
