Sound

I reinstalled Mandrake and I can't remember how to get my soundcard up and running. I have a Soundblaster 16 sound card and i have tried to use the command sndconfig but that doesn't seem to be doing the trick.

The command is "draksound". You must run as root.

When I login, the following error shows up.

I then run draksound and the following is displayed.

You can see in the background that I have run sndconfig but it says command not found. The soundcard is a Soundblaster 16. Strangest thing is that I must have used sndconfig before I reinstalled Mandrake and then it worked.

Sorted. It would seem when I re-installed it didn't install some packages.
