Could you possibly

1. Use better (i.e. descriptive) thread titles, as advised when you post a new thread,
2. post in the correct forum and
3. give us more details, e.g. what environment you're using

please?

Do you mean the icon that goes to your personal folder? This will depend on what desktop you are using--eg KDE, Gnome, etc.

In KDE, you simply right-click on the icon and select the option which says "configure...."

Note that the "Home" folder on the typical Linux system does not have the same meaning as "My Computer" on Windows.

Hello,

Again I assume you are using KDE and I refer you to this thread. The OP has a remarkably similar problem and a remarkably similar posting style.

Anyway in this case you would want to edit the file "Home.desktop" instead of "trash.desktop".

Code:
[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Name=Home
...(lots of other names for different locales)
URL=$HOME
Icon=kfm_home
Type=Link
This is what Home.desktop looks like for me, so I would change the third line "Name=Home" to "Name=My Computer".

As pixellany said Home is not really equivalent to My Computer in fact you might want to rename the "System" link rather than "Home". If thats the case then you want the "System.desktop" file.
