sony picturebook linux question?
 

If there are any other Sony Picturebook users out there. . .

I finally successfully installed mandrake linux on my C1x with out the sony cd-rom drive, I had a external usb floppy drive i used with other computers and it seemed to work at boot on my picturebook, so I poped in the mandrake 8.2 usb- floppy boot disk, and it worked, once it booted I unplugged the usb floppy disk, the boot menu gave me a choice to select a methoed to install, so i plugged up a external usb iomega cd-rom rw, and it was detected so i used that to install the mandrake distro, from disc 1 and 2.

Now, i have a fesh install of mandrake 8.2, with X and kde installed, and set to NOT start x at boot, so I start in the console, what steps should i now take to use linux to it's fullest on the machine?

How can i set X to size and run properly on the picturebook ?
How can I set the screen size to fit properly at the console? (i do most of my work in the console)?
What good pcmica netowrk adpaters are there that work good with linux?
