I'm thinking of going out to buy some peripherals and install some games... but need to find out about the level of compatibility first...
Is Linux able to support some of my favourite games (Football Manager 2005, Diablo 2, etc), maybe through WINE?
Is the Creative Nomad Zen Touch MP3 Player supported? (Supposedly its only compatible with Win 2K+, but I'm thinking/hoping to be able to use it, either through WINE or some driver wrapper?)
What about external HDDs and USB thumbdrives? (I think they shouldn't pose a problem right? But just want to be sure...)
you have to subscribe to the service, $5 month cheapest.
about controllers, the only one I've tried with is a Microsoft Sidewinder joystick. and it works. you can find out how to get other controllers to work in the Transgamming forums.
you should be able to emulate the mp3 player, in Cedega. or you could just get Mplayer or VLC
Oh... cos i read somewhere that it doesn't exactly function like an external hdd where you can just plug-in and use, and you'll need the drivers, etc...
