Some other cool things to do

I installed 2.6.3 and 2.6.5 kernels and really enjoyed it.they are both working fine so I want to leave them alone.what are some other things that I can do,I have been using linux for about 1 year.I'm using Mepis which is based on Debian,something that I will be able to see some progress so I won't lose interest,thanks david

setup your own server..

web/ftp/dns/email/router/firewall.. whatever

should keep you busy for some time
