Some keys in keyboard do NOT work

I recently installed Fedora3 and it has started doing something strange. Everytime I reboot or log back into Gnome, the 'b' key does not work on the keyboard. I have to manually change it everytime I go into Gnome, which is a real pain, since 'b' is in the root password. Is there any way around doing this manually? Isn't there some input file that the system should load?

Thanks for any help!!
