i have googled editing wp-config.php
nothing i have seen has shown if anything has to be restarted etc

i also watched a tutorial on youtube setting up a wordpress server on centos7 and followed it to a tee but still get
cannot connect to database
silly question...but i have only bought a domain...i havent pointed it to my server etc etc
but i should still be seeing the wordpress setup screen in my browser shouldnt i?
if its running correctly...
ok so finally i have it working!!! i dont know,i just followed the tutorial from scratch again
created a new db user etc...reinstalled all packages again etc
only difference was i didnt copy username db name and password from notepad...maybe that made the difference,not sure
