Some Basic Questions

In red hat 9
I logged out of my account then I tried logging in, I got a msgbox:
Your account has expired; please contact your system admin
And then the label turned
The system admin has disabled your account.

I don’t know the admin’s username, I mean when installing Linux they asked me to put a pass, I did, but they didn’t ask for a username!
How should I log in now?!

Should I install the sound card to be able to hear sounds?
Should I install the modem or will it know it?

well you'll have to log in as root
so when you get to the login prompt
for the username you will type "root"
and for the password you will type the
pass you gave in the installation at that
time when it didn't ask you for a username
cause that will be your pass for root account.
