Software Suggestions

Ok, I just made the move. I got rid of Windows for good and jumped feet first into the world of Linux. Now I just need a few suggestions on some software.

First, I need something along the lines of Adobe Photoshop

Second, I need something to do web development, I was using Homesite 5.5 from Macromedia

I also was wondering about a good media player, preferrably one that you can listen to the radio online

XMMS is compatable with streaming mp3 radio found on shoutcast.com and live365.com.

I use Screem for maintaing my (very basic) website. There are a variety of others. Quanta Plus is supposed to be good.

The Gimp is the only Photoshop replacement I know of. However, you can run Photoshop on Linux using Codeweavers crossover office.

Gimp, ImageMagick, CinePaint, or RubyMagick.

xradio, cRadio, Xmradio, RDJ, RadioActive, XMMS-FMRadio, Gqradio, Qtradio.
