software manager

Hello,

I just came from xp, and installed Linux Mint Mate 14. I Have made Mate look, and feel the way I would like it. Accept for one minor detail, in software manager under installed programs. Seems to be alot of things I dont need or want. Are all these things needed, or can I remove them. (Games, Fonts, ect)

Your site is very informative!

Thanks chilidog

You can certainly remove anything you don't want in the realm of games and such, but you should be careful about removing anything which isn't familiar to you. A good rule is not to remove anything unless you know what it is and are sure it isn't something you want.
