Snmp


Dear,

I having problems while installing the SNMP. I follows the instruction at http://manageengine.adventnet.com/pr...nmp_linux.html, but end up having with the problems 2. Export PATH=<gcc path>:$PATH. How actually to set the path for the export?

Please help.

ignore those instructions, just install net-snmp from your distro sources, job done. No need to compile anything.

nothing to do with networking. moved to Linux - Newbie.

Simple Network Management Protocol = SNMP, why you say it nothing to do with networking?
