smpt trouble

I am new with linux flat form my friend installed and configure my server in a slackware ver 10.2 for my mail server... It seems to be good but im having trouble to send emails using my ms outlook and outlook express if im outside my network. I could received my mails but I couldn't send it if IM out from my net server. How I'm going to configure my mail server in able for me to receive mails anywhere I am.

I use Pop3 for my incoming and smtp for outgoing

Please help me

Hi There Buddy

You need to set up your IP address, from where you want to send email through your mail server in the /etc/mail/relay-domai file in your server

If you will be connecting from different IP addresses the whole time, you need to set up smtp authentication on your mail server.
