SMP under RHEL6?

Does RHEL6 include smp kernel?
When I run uname -arn it does #SMP but I want to confirm if a seperate RPM like kernel-smp-* is included in default installation.
please suggest.

I would be most surprised if anyone doesn't ship with SMP selected these days.

syg00,

When I typed #yum install kernel-smp it says no package found.
Also, rpm -qa kernel-smp doesnt display anything.

I don't have a RHEL6 here, but check the (kernel) config for SMP.

Starting with RHEL/Centos5.0 SMP is in the standard kernel. There are no standard kernels labeled SMP for RHEL5/6.
