SMP support

Hello All,

Our SysAd has purchased the Redhat Enterprise Linux Workstation 3.0 with kernel 2.4.21-4EL. But to get the SMP(symmetric Multiprocessing) support we need to have the kernel 2.4.21-4ELsmp. So how do I go about it? Is it possible to upgrade the kernel now? Or do we have to buy a another WS with the 2.4.21-4ELsmp kernel?

Thanks in advance,
// Rahul

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.

You got answer in the RedHat forum, please post all replies in the thread
