Small video problem

I recently installed Ubuntu 7.04 and it seems to be working ok, but I have a small problem in that my screen is kinda shifted over to the right about 1/4 inch, I have a black border on the left and the right scroll bar is almost off the screen. Running an Nvida 7900GS video card that works fine under WinXP. Is there a way I can tell if Ubuntu is having a problem with the driver I have or if I need to update some file on Ubuntu or something?

You can't edit anything on the monitor itself?

if that does not work, try going to the screen settings page you might get lucky there.

You need the NVidia drivers. I don't remember where you get them for Ubuntu - do a search on LQ for "nvidia driver ubuntu" or similar
