slow browsing issue
 

Today i face a new problem on CentOs machine
there was slow or no browsing issue.
DNS fine, i check it through dig and nslooup and verify it.
all the computers on same network are fine/ no browsing issue.

there is also very slow process of yum update.

ping to gateway/other machines are fine and ssh or telnet is also fine.

in most the case the site is shown after logn period of time.

Kindly help in this regard.

Maybe try it with a different browser then the default, just to make sure that it is not an issue with the browser itself. Opera is a full-fledged alternative to Firefox, and Dillo will give a minimalistic approach for surfing the net. You can also try elinks or lynx on the commandline.
