Thumbs down Slow browsing & e-mail in 7.10

I just upgraded from Feisty to Gutsy and am somewhat dissappointed. Firefox, Evolution and Thunderbird are now running as if I was on a dial-up
connection instead of of 6Mb dsl. Feisty did not have such problems. I just hope this kind of situation is not the norm every 6 months.

Things to look for.
Firefox disable ipv6. Post on doing this.
Check to see if you have the right DNS values in /etc/resolv.conf for your ISP.
