Slideshow on images folder

HI.

In windows when I copy a bunch of images from my Digital Camera to my desktop, I have an option to view as slideshow.

Is there something similar in Linux? I am looking for something that will take under 3 seconds to do each time I want to do it.

Thanks,
David

That doesn't sound too good. is there anything else I can use?

you can rename it if you donīt like the way it sounds :) but it fills your need.

take a look at gqview - it has slideshows, thumbnail viewing, etc.

gqview is really simple but good, Curiously enough I went to sourcforge looking for pornview to download it, When I click on the project home page link It takes me to Microsoft.com. WTF is that about? http://sourceforge.net/projects/pornview/

I recommend xv.
xv -wait 3 -expand 1.5 ~/pics/* &
does it for me every time
