SLED 10 and modem huawei E270
 

Hello friends.....
I'm a bit new in Linux...and i have install SLED 10 successfully and im able to dial my modem Huawei E270 through wvdial and kinternet but im facing one challenge that i need your assistance.

Modem than im using, whenever it is connected to a windows machine and if its application is not install it pop up for installation [ means it have a certain application inside it ] and after that connection can be made via GUI,so my problem is I WANT LOAD THAT APPLICATION in my SUSE and perform some tasks it is supporting e.g. Querying for my balance, send SMS, Connect and Disconnect to the internet.....please assist me on that

You will need to find the software equivalent for linux for your hardware to be able to use such features.
Search goolge for the software or try to search for applications that fit the description of the purpose of the applications for you hardware, but for linux distro. You might find somebody out there that has already faced that need and scripted a program to perform that functon with the hardware you are using.

Other than that use VirtualBox/Vmware or maybe WINE for linux and host a Xp machine and access it through that while in Linux.
