Slax linux.. Wifi and wine??

So i want to get portable linux distro called Slax.. But can it run on 1.536gb ram and single core 2.66GHz celeron d CPU? And is really a Slax Kill bill version?? I want to try kill bill version... Not realy kill Bill but only use wine and dosbox for some fun.. Can i run cs 1.6 on wine in Slax? And what about Open Arena. I like open arena realy mutch.. So i want it on Slax two.
Tnx for any help and can live cd's realy broke hardware or windows in HDD? it is true or not?

I saw porteus and now i am kinda thinking about porteus.. Maybe half of hour with VirtualBox will help me decide. They both is 250mb big and in porteus i can make my own iso... Cool
I want only from usb bootable and NO installation.. Because my hard drive all ready have os

Slax will certainly run on that computer: it's fine on this, with 1 GB and an AMD Sempron. Wine is available: you download the module from their website, click on it in your file manager, and it's installed.

Puppy is an alternative and that too has Wine. You install it in the same way, from a Puppy .pet file.

It's some time since I tried Porteus, and I had a few problems with it.

For what you can run in Wine, look up each program at https://www.winehq.org/

Ok. I have Celeron D 331 and it is prescott.. Heats muth and i tried to run vm with both.. I failed.. Well i will try on actual machine

KDE 4 is a bit slow but i will buy better CPU soon(propably core 2 duo E6600) and i can tweak desktop effects and get it running fast. Even now i am using Slax to be here
