Slackware Newbie

I sucessfully installed slackware- now I need help configuring various devices.
1) It didnt identify my ethernet card, how should I go about fixing this?
....I'll take up questions one by one.

Well, one way would be to look at the network card, or the box it came in. Running a search on google to find out more about the card (like say, the chip). And then making sure that support is in the kernel (or a module).

If it's an onboard lan adapter, check the motherboard manual (or the web).

You're not giving alot of info to work with.
