Slackware help

Hi, so i have been messing around with Slackware and I have been trying to find a driver for my wireless card. It is a Broadcom BCM4313. Do you know of any website where I can download a driver? Ive been looking through the net and I havent gotten anything. I also have ndiswrapper installed, so if you know where the zip archive is with the inf file that would also help me. Thanks!

There's an LQ thread about it.

Is your os 32-bit or 64-bit?
Also there s a Readme file which I assume is for either of the 2 downloads.

From where? The broadcom website? I did and I followed the instructions and everything worked. But, I dont know what to do know. Was that the driver? If it was how do I join a network?

Isn't the network icon showing?
Click on it & it'll show available networks

I havent installed KNetworkmanager, if that is what you are referring to. I read somewhere that it isnt wise to use KNetworkmanager in Slackware, but, I could give it a shot. The only program on my taskbar that is related to networking is wicd, if that helps.

Click on it & see if networks are available

You may have to scan for networks
I think the commaand is

iwlist scan wlan0

iwlist scan

I found out that I should be using wicd. But, it couldnt pick up any wireless networks. How do I know if my wireless card is working?
Sorry for all these questions. I have no idea what I am doing.

Oh wait, I got it! I just had the interface in wicd wrong. I put wlan0 when it should have ben eth1. Anyways, thanks for your help!
