Slackware help
Hi guys

Ok i have a HWU54G Wifi card that im trying to setup in slackware..........i downloaded the modules from the the problem i having is after i untar the package, first when i do ./configure i get error message so i skipped that part and login as root and do make install i then get a message saying the gcc compiler could permission denied. has anybody been able to get wifi working in slackware. if so how did you do it?

It would help if you posted exact error messages. Descriptive thread titles wouldn't hurt, either.

Ok i think i found the i just need a solution, this module was compiled with an older version of GCC. what i wanted to know is if i take the makefile and recompile it with the GCC version im running on slackware 11 if that would work.......also, i wanted to know how i can do that since i am a newbe.
