slackware documents
 

does anybody know a good site where i can get docs something like "slackware for dummies". i have the official slackware guide doc but some basic details are not there which i find essential, like how to make my system know that i have a dvdrom or i have ethernet card. i can't even find such devices in /dev.

when i installed redhat, i didn't had much trouble because most of things were done automatically but i really want to stick with slackware. i wanna call it my home. i badly need help!!!!
