Slackware and Imageshack.us

Hi, just got linux and so far I like it. Anyways I want to use Imageshack.us to post some picks on a forum but I dont label things well and I dont know how to get it so I can look at the pics in thumbnail form as Im browsing through them.

I tired right clicking but nothing happens.

Are you saying you want to browse thumbnails of pictures that are on your computer or on Imageshack.

Give us some more information on where the pictures are, what Linux version your using and what your trying to view them with...

Okay you know how when you use image shack you pick the browse option and it brings up all your pictures and you choose what to host from there. Well when I had windows I could rightclick and I could change how the pics were viewd.

how do I get it to do that in linux

I don't use Imagshack but it's probably their http image upload page.

If there is not a preview window try clicking on "view" and change from "list" or "detail" view to "thumbnail"

Ok, I went to my imageshack account and tried to figure out what you're trying to do. The window that pops up to browse is a function of your browser. What browser are you using?

I use Firefox and as far as I can see you can't do what you're trying to do with it. You'll just need to know the file name. If I were you I would just spend some time renaming the files so you know what they are and get in the habit of giving them names you'll recognize.

Ok thanks, yeah I am using Firefox, but I sometimes use opera too. (well when I had windows I did)

If I look at my directory in a seperate window while Im using it it aint a big deal.
