Slackware 9.0 Plug and Play?

I've looked around and been unable to find any simple instructions on how
to enable plug and play functionality in slack. I'm using 9.0. I'm sure it
can be done... It's linux after all :-) I'm still pretty new to linux and
have been trying to understand it by poking around in the files. Sometimes
I crash it... sometimes I don't :-). But I haven't found the info I need.
Either I just didn't know what I was reading or I just haven't found it.
Someone point me in the right direction?

Sure, there is a package from the series A in the instalation CD
The name is hotplug-2002_08_26-noarch-5.tgz.
This package contains tools for hotplugging PCI/Cardbus/USB devices

Sweeeeeet!!! So I did pass it up! Thanks! I guess my first guess was correct. I didn't know what the heck I was reading. I looked through the packages but didn't think to look in the A series.... (Plug and Play right?) I'm going to go give it a shot right now. Thanks again for the info.
