Slackware 12 Install - Kernel Panic problems

More fun with installs!

I managed to get through the entire partition/setup of Slackware 12. I was pretty sure that everything was done correclty. I rebooted my system and selected Linux as my boot up.

Things went fine until:

VFS: mounted root (ext 2 filesystem) read only
freeing unused kernel memory: 344k freed
Warning: unable to open intial console
Kernel Panic -not syncing no init found try passing init=opt to kernel

This is on my FIRST BOOTUP after install. What do I need to do?

HA HA! Great success!

Not only can I BOOT into Slackware, I can ALSO view the internet, which I COULD NOT do in Fedora!
