Slackware 10 questions

Hey everybody I'm a newbie here with some very basic knowledge of linux and trying to learn as much as I can. I've got Slackware 10 installed and I finally got my DWL-g520 wireless card working and now I'm trying to get the scroll wheel on my mouse to work. It's a logitech what do I have to do to make the wheel work.

Another question...
When I boot up instead of typing dhcpcd ath0 to acticate my wireless card i want it to automatically do that when I boot up what do i need to do.

This is just the begining of my question many more to come thanks a lot everybody

question 1: open xorg.conf, in whichever text editor you prefer, (pico is good for newbies) and go to Section.

"InputDevice"

and look for these lines

Identifier "Mouse1"
Driver "mouse"
Option "Protocol" "IMPS/2"
Option "Device" "/dev/psaux"
Option "Emulate3Button" "off"
Option "Buttons" "5"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
Option "Resolution" "256"
EndSection

yours will probably not have the Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" line, add that, and change the Option "Protocol" from im sure "PS/2" to "IMPS/2" Restart X and see if it works.

question 2: add the line dhcpcd ath0 to your /etc/rc.d/rc.local file with again whichever text editor you prefer.
