Slackware 10 and xp

I have two hard drives, one 8gb and one 13.

I HAD xp on the 8gb master and was GOING to put slackware on the 13... but now i am so lost...

I was going along great till i got to the partitioning part. I typed "cfdisk" and deleted the partition on the 13 gb hd and thought i had created a new partition. so I go ahead with the installation. During the instalation the background kept flickering to lines of code, each with something like No space left... now i cant get xp to boot....or anything...

lucky you !... but seriously... are you SURE you didnt remove the XP partiton ?

without more info or a detailed description i can only guess you wriote over the windows MBR with Grub, but didnt confuigure grub to boot windows...

boot the windowsXP cd and when asked, enter rescue mode and use "fixmbr" to return the windows MBR (master boot record) to its origonal state.
