slackware 10.2 wont connect to DHCP

slackware 10.2 wont connect to DHCP and I don't know what to do, it just won't work.

did you set the proper default gateway and IP address of the DHCP server? run the 'network' command as root and try and reconfigure your network settings again.

You mean "netconfig", surely?

ichiroboston, do you know that your network card has been detected and the right module is loaded?
