slackpkg question

im new to slackware, and im used to using yum for my updates.

so how do i update slackware? do i use both slackpkg update and slackpkg upgrade-all?

any help would be awesome.

Man slackpkg will tell you what you need to do. In short, uncomment one of the appropriate mirrors then update Slackpkg and then upgrade your packages.

There is also slapt-get package manager. I sort of emulates synaptic package manager.
