Slack internet


Just installed slack 10.1 with 2.4 kernel, how do i start the internet (im already all connected with ethernet adapter etc.)

Start the internet?

If you're running KDE, you need to go the bar on the bottom, and click the icon that looks like a gear surrounding a globe (Konqueror). That's your basic web browser; from there, you can download whichever one you want (I reccommed firefox).
You can check (easily) if you're on the internet by opening a console and typing "links www.google.ca." If it loads (in the console), then you're good; if not, then you aren't actually connected to the internet.
