Slack 11 Swap Partitions

Hi.

Will linux slackware 11 use a swap partition if it is on another drive? ie, I have slack on /dev/sda. Will it use /dev/sdb if it is set up as a swap partition?

Yes it should - I had a similar setup (with non-sata drives) on several of my older PCs with previous Slackware releases. As long as Slackware can see the drives it can use their partitions.

yes it will use the Swap on the /dev/sda. but you can create a swap during installation with cfdisk. just crate the partition the select type and make it a swap partition.
