SL6 stuck on startup screen after taking password
 
Hi
I am newbie, I am using SL6.4 since 6 months, today I shut down (also cancelled update downloads before). When I restarted it stuck at startup screen after taking password. Anybody can tell me what to do???

Are you talking about Slackware? If so, isn't the current version at 14.1? That would make SL6.4 rather old, wouldn't it?
