SL 13 XFCE theme problem

Hello, I am using Sabayon Linux 13 XFCE. I have no major problems with anything other than the system themes. I usually prefer to use a desktop theme with a dark background and white or light colored text.

The problem is that when I select such a theme, say the XFCE4 DUSK theme, and pull up the firefox browser text on a webpage is unfortunately white like the desktop and unreadable.

Does anyone know anything about this, because my google searches for an answer have been fruitless.
