Simple System monitor for XFCE
Hi there! Can anyone suggest a VERY simple network monitor for Xfce. I would just like to see the CPU and RAM usage in a panel just displayed as a percentage, that's all..
I have it as a desklet if I run Cinnamon; but I now prefer xfce... Thanks! |

have you looked into all of the plug ins for XFCE? they have a few to pick from for network, cpu, and memory monitoring.
if you get time to kill, you might be able to run xfce4 panel in Cinnamon (maybe)if you can kill the task bar in Cinnamon, then with some finagling, well like I said, got time to kill, so you can play around with it that's if you're looking for a totally custom look and feel. I use xfce4 panel in Fluxbox with the plug ins for monitoring the system etc... |
cbm should work.

I am a big fan of GKrellM. It's compact, somewhat configurable, offers a number of skins if you are into that sort of thing, and can be positioned and told to stay wherever you prefer it.
I've tried others, even took a deep dive into Conky once, but always end up back with it. It should be in the repos. |
yeah what he said, and the plugins are here for 64bit
