All I want to do is setup and simple mail server, nothing amazing, i've been told it's rather simple, but all the site's i've found out there that tell me how to setup them up are as complicated as makeing your own space station, plus i'm pretty new to linux and i probably don't understand everything, but i've setup samba as a domain controllor and i've been useing Fedora Core 1 as my primary operating system for about 5 months now so i'm really starting to get the hang of things linux.
i was just wonderring what would be the easiet mail server to set up cause there are several of them out there, i've kinda been looking into postfix and dose anyone know of a good site/pdf document?

I'm in the same boat. I've been using Whitebox since around August, and SuSE 9.2 Pro for the past few weeks. If you have any luck finding a simple mail server how-to let me know. I found an interesting article on /. yesterday about the hula server, but I think it's abit out of my league. http://www.hula-project.org.
