simple ? concerning evolution/desktop

i just would like to know how i could change desktop KDE to gnome and vice versa?

Also anyone has an idea how to change the configuration of taskbar in evolution ? I want to take out the text and reduce icon size.

I feel bad, the standard of technicity of these questions is pretty poor, but i spent hour oon evolution on this jgfdjfggf taskbar

What distro are you using???

You can switch using .xinitrc file located in your home directory.

If you are using redhat or fedora,

you can use switchdesk command. I've never used it but you can give it a try.

$ switchdesk kde
