Well OP I guess you've noticed that an indeterminate sentence fragment is not a good question.

Use your favorite we search and look for examples of signals being used in C source, I'm sure you'll find plenty. Plus review the recommended documentation section per veerain's suggestion.

There are also links in most of our signatures pointing to LQ's guidances on how to ask effective questions.

You may also wish to review the LQ Rules and guidelines in order to head off the possibility that you may soon look to post homework or assignment questions verbatim. That's also frowned upon.
